The Urban&Civic team has extensive experience of large, complex sites and a powerful sense of mission in creating properly integrated mixed-use developments with enduring quality and value. Urban&Civic was founded by Nigel Hugill and Robin Butler, who have directed some of Europe’s largest regeneration projects, including Stratford City (London 2012 Olympic site), Greenwich Peninsula and Paddington Basin.
As the leading Master Developer of 19 large-scale strategic sites, we are proud of the sustainable communities we are crafting, the quality of placemaking we are delivering and the challenges that we are overcoming through shared innovation and passion. Our projects involve delivering extensive investment in power, water and transport infrastructure, as well as landscape, commercial buildings and homes, and important amenities like schools, shops, health centres and play parks. Working with local partners and communities, we support and drive planning at every level to ensure businesses secure what they need, and then support delivery bespoke to each business’ needs.
